Ezra Miller Shines in “The Flash” Alongside Michael Keaton’s Epic Comeback as Batman

Get ready for a superhero movie that will blow your mind! DC’s The Flash is not just another comic book movie, it’s a fresh, invigorating, and hugely entertaining summer treat that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Christina Hodson have given the genre a brand-new life with a smart, funny, thrilling, emotional, and altogether swell take on a character that has been around for over 80 years but never got the showcase he deserves – until now.

Ezra Miller delivers a dual performance as The Flash (née Barry Allen) that is simply sensational. Miller’s portrayal of the character is so credible and believable that you’ll forget he’s playing two different versions of Barry. Michael Keaton is back as Batman, and he’s better than ever. Keaton’s reinvention of the character is a terrific addition to the film, and it’s fun to see him back in the Batsuit.

The action starts off with a bang, and it doesn’t let up. The Flash saves people from a collapsing hospital building, and he and Batman team up to cut off certain disaster on a bridge. Along the way, they discover General Zod (Michael Shannon) with evil designs of his own. The two Barrys find themselves in a race to save the planet, and they get some help from another superstar superhero in a brief but amusing cameo.

The Flash is a comic book movie for everyone, even if you aren’t inclined to like this kind of flick. It has more in common with the spirit of movies like Back to the Future, and in ways hard-core BTTF fans are going to go batsh*t crazy over. The film is undeniably a crowd-pleaser and a comic book movie that makes all the right choices.

Production values across the board are first-rate, and Warner Bros. will release it on June 16, 2023. If this isn’t a smash hit, we can’t imagine what is. Don’t miss out on this epic adventure!
