‘Peter Pan Goes Wrong’ Broadway Run Extended, Set to Fly to Los Angeles

Get ready to laugh until you cry with the latest stage farce from UK’s Mischief theater troupe – Peter Pan Goes Wrong! And good news for all you New Yorkers, the show has extended its run on Broadway for two weeks, now playing at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre through July 23. But don’t worry, Los Angeles, you’re up next! The show will begin performances at the Ahmanson Theatre on August 8 and run through September 10.

The writers of the show, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, are thrilled to be extending their run on Broadway. “We are having an absolutely terrific time sharing our very silly take on Peter Pan with New York audiences and are thrilled to be extending on Broadway because we still have several pizza joints left to try,” they said in a statement.

Although the production was shut out of the Tony Award nominations, it did receive award nominations from the Outer Critics Circle, the Drama Desk, and the Drama League. The cast of Peter Pan Goes Wrong features an incredibly talented group of actors, including Matthew Cavendish, Bianca Horn, Harry Kershaw, Chris Leask, Henry Lewis, Ellie Morris, Charlie Russell, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields, Greg Tannahill, and Nancy Zamit. Ryan Vincent Anderson, Stephen James Anthony, and Brenann Stacker complete the company.

And let’s not forget the early boost the Broadway staging received with the temporary casting of Neil Patrick Harris in a guest starring performance as the Narrator. Don’t miss out on this hilarious show that’s sure to have you in stitches!
