ABC News is gearing up for the 2024 presidential campaign with an impressive lineup of embed reporters and producers. The news division has also announced leadership promotions in three bureaus, including Bonnie Mclean as director of the Los Angeles bureau, Dimitrije Stejic as director of the London bureau, and Andrea Owen as executive director and deputy Washington, D.C. bureau chief.
The class of embeds is equally impressive, featuring Gabriella Abdul-Hakim, Libby Cathey, Abby Cruz, Hannah Demissie, Fritz Farrow, Lalee Ibssa, Nicholas Kerr, Soorin Kim, Will McDuffie, Kendall Ross, and Kelsey Walsh. Five alternates were also announced, including Kiara Brantley-Jones, Julia Cherner, Isabella Murray, Olivia Osteen, and Laura Romero.
Mclean, who has been with the network for almost 25 years, previously served as deputy bureau chief and will report to Michael Kreisel. Stejic, a veteran of the network’s international news team, will report to Kirit Radia, who oversees international bureaus. Owen, who has been with the network for 30 years, will transition from overseeing field and bureau operations to her new role over the summer and will report to bureau chief Jonathan Greenberger.
With such a talented team in place, ABC News is sure to deliver top-notch coverage of the 2024 presidential campaign.
