Get ready, DC fans! The search for the stars of the highly anticipated Superman: Legacy movie is heating up. After months of sifting through countless audition tapes, Warner Bros and DC Films are gearing up for a second round of testing. And we’ve got the inside scoop on who’s expected to participate.
Insiders close to the process reveal that Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet, and Tom Brittney are all set to test for the iconic role of Clark Kent aka Superman. Meanwhile, Emma Mackey, Rachel Brosnahan, and Phoebe Dynevor are expected to audition for the role of Lois Lane.
But that’s not all. We’ve also learned that the first in-person tests with DC co-heads Peter Safran and James Gunn (who is writing and directing the film) will take place around Father’s Day weekend or the following Monday or Tuesday.
While some of the test deals are still being negotiated, these are the names that have risen to the top of the shortlist. And with Gunn’s commitment to watching every single audition tape, we can be sure that these actors are truly the cream of the crop.
As for other roles, such as Lex Luthor and Jimmy Olsen, those decisions will likely be made after the Superman and Lois casting is finalized. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
