Get ready to be amazed because Harrison Ford has just turned 80 and is working harder than ever before! He’s been busy splitting his time between the Emmy-worthy series Shrinking and 1923, while also donning his iconic whip and stetson for the last time in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s even joined Marvel’s Captain America series!
In a recent interview before the Italian premiere of his final Indiana Jones movie, Ford talks about the opportunity to explore the aging process of an iconic character. The movie even uses de-aging technology to bring Ford back to his 40-year-old self in the opening scene. Ford wanted to show the archaeologist as an older man dealing with the loss of youth, and we can’t wait to see it!
But let’s not forget about the time he played doubles with Sean Connery, who played Indy’s father. Ford admits to accidentally hitting Connery in the back of the head a few times, pretending to know what he was doing on the court.
