Adele Confronts Fans Who Throw Objects at Performers Onstage: “I Challenge You” – Watch

Adele has a powerful message for fans who think it’s okay to throw things at artists during their performances. She’s had enough. At a recent “Weekends with Adele” concert in Las Vegas, the Grammy-winning singer took matters into her own hands and used a t-shirt cannon to shoot out t-shirts to the audience. But that’s not all she did. Adele also called out those who might be tempted to throw objects at performers, saying, “Have you noticed how people are forgetting show etiquette in America? They’re just throwing stuff on stage. Have you seen that?” As she walked the stage with the t-shirt gun, she made it clear that she won’t tolerate such behavior. “I dare you,” she said. “Dare you to throw something at me.” Watch the video below to see it all unfold.

Adele’s actions come in response to a concerning trend of concertgoers throwing objects at performers. This not only puts the artists at risk but also endangers the audience. Recently, Bebe Rexha was hit in the eye with a fan’s cellphone, requiring stitches. Singer Ava Max was slapped by a fan, and a Pink concert in London saw a fan throwing a bag containing her mother’s ashes on stage. Lil Nas X had to pause a show when a fan threw a sex toy, and most recently, country singer Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the eye by a fan’s bracelet during a concert in Boise, Idaho. Despite the incident, Ballerini returned to the stage and emphasized the importance of everyone’s safety. “All I care about is keeping everyone safe. Don’t throw things… I want it to be a safe place for everyone. We have little kids here. Can you help me make that happen tonight?” These incidents highlight the need for concertgoers to respect performers and create a safe environment for everyone. Unfortunately, this is not the first time such incidents have occurred. In late 2022, Harry Styles was hit with Skittles while performing in L.A. and also experienced a flying object during a concert in Chicago.
