UPDATE: The autopsy report of Lisa Marie Presley, obtained by CNN, sheds light on the cause of her death. Deputy medical examiner Dr. Juan M. Carrillo stated that her death was a result of scar tissue that developed after bariatric surgery years ago, a known long-term complication. The report also revealed the presence of oxycodone, quetapine metabolite, and buprenorphine in her blood, although they were not contributing factors to her death. Carrillo concluded that there was no evidence of foul play and deemed the manner of death as natural.
“There is no evidence of injury or foul play. The manner of death is deemed natural,” concluded Carrillo.
