Taylor Swift Makes History with Four Albums in Top 10 Simultaneously as ‘Speak Now’ Debuts at No 1

Taylor Swift continues to make history with the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which has catapulted her to a major win. The re-recorded Speak Now debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, joining three other Swift albums in the Top 10. This remarkable achievement marks the first time a woman has accomplished this in 60 years and makes Taylor Swift one of only three living artists to achieve such a feat. According to Billboard, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) moved an impressive 716,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. Swift’s other albums, Midnights (2022), Lover (2019), and Folklore (2020), also secured spots in the Top 10.

In the past, Herb Alpert had four albums in the Top 10, including Going Places at No. 2, Whipped Cream & Other Delights at No. 3, South of the Border at No. 9, and The Lonely Bull at No. 10. Another artist who achieved this feat was Prince, who, after his death, dominated the Top 10 charts with The Very Best of Prince, the Purple Rain soundtrack, The Hits/The B-Sides, Ultimate, and 1999.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is a re-recorded edition of Taylor Swift’s 2010 14-track album. The new version features a total of 22 tracks, including previously unreleased recordings from the vault.
