Jonathan Majors’ Domestic Violence Trial Postponed to Next Month

(Updated with DA’s office statement) The trial for Jonathan Majors’ domestic violence charges has been rescheduled to begin on September 6. Originally set to start today, the new date was announced by Judge Michael Gaffey at a brief hearing in lower Manhattan. Assistant D.A Kelli Galaway informed the judge that the prosecution was not ready for trial today and needed more time for discovery. Judge Gaffey emphasized that time is running against the prosecution.
