This move is aimed at strengthening their focus on social impact and music-driven content for theatrical and event releases worldwide. Evan Saxon has also been promoted to President and Head of International Distribution, further solidifying their commitment to these areas. Abramowitz expressed his confidence in Martesko-Fenster and Saxon, stating that their extensive experience in the music and social impact film genres will propel the company to new heights.
Martesko-Fenster will lead the company in expanding its footprint and partnerships in the filmed entertainment sector, while also enhancing services for filmmakers and IP owners across all platforms. He will also spearhead the integration of emerging technologies and innovative release strategies, as well as oversee culturally relevant and socially impactful documentaries. Saxon, based in Los Angeles, will take charge of music-centric engagements, Direct-To-Consumer campaigns, and international theatrical distribution and marketing efforts.
During his time at Abramorama, Martesko-Fenster has championed the “event viewing” model, going beyond traditional cinemas to create unique offline and online screening events for films like “The Library That Dolly Built,” “Herb Alpert Is,” “Parkland Rising,” and “Who Will Write
