‘Alaska PD’ Producer Joe Livecchi Takes Helm as CEO of Kentucky’s Wrigley Media Group

EXCLUSIVE: Wrigley Media Group, a production company aiming to expand its operations in Kentucky, has appointed Joe Livecchi as CEO. Livecchi, the founder of Noble Savages, a production company responsible for hit shows like A&E’s Alaska PD, History’s Save It Or Sell It, and FYI’s Question of Love, brings a wealth of experience to the role. Prior to that, he served as SVP of Development at Viacom-owned CMT, where he oversaw the creation of shows like Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Ranch, American Speed: The True Story of Nascar, and the scripted series Sun Records. This appointment comes at a time when Kentucky’s film and TV tax incentive has been revamped, offering producers a 30-40% refund on projects filmed in the state.

Wrigley Media Group, owned by Misdee Wrigley Miller, has been involved in the production of popular shows like CBS’ Secret Celebrity Renovation and Joe Exotic: Before He Was King. They are also behind Lex Studios, a state-of-the-art facility with three stages spanning over 3,400 sq ft. Previously, Wrigley Miller served as the CEO of the company.

Livecchi, a former showrunner with overall deals with Endemol, ITV, and Six West Media, brings a proven track record and extensive industry relationships to Wrigley Media Group. With his marketing background and expertise, he is well-positioned to lead the company in Kentucky. Wrigley Miller expressed confidence in Livecchi’s ability to take the company to new heights, stating, “I feel confident with a renewed sense of excitement for what’s to come as I hand the CEO reins over to Joe.”

Livecchi himself is excited about the opportunities in the entertainment industry, particularly in Kentucky. He plans to leverage the state’s generous entertainment incentive to foster collaboration with competitors and deliver affordable premium content to networks and streaming platforms. With their expansive studio space and unique assets, Wrigley Media Group is well-equipped to handle all aspects of production, from concept to completion.
