Michael Kassan files $125M defamation suit against UTA lawyer Bryan Freedman for “Pathological Liar” comment

In the midst of the dramatic fallout from Michael Kassan’s departure from UTA, even the legal teams are feeling the impact now. Following a FilmmakerFocus article on March 25 where the agency’s outside counsel Bryan Freeman labeled the ex-MediaLink CEO a “pathological liar,” Kassan is now directing his anger towards the Hollywood heavyweight attorney with a whopping $125 million lawsuit. This amount is significant because it mirrors the exact sum that UTA acquired MediaLink for in a handshake deal back in December 2021.
