Day 38 of Picket Lines: Bike Strike and ‘Daisy Jones’ Listening Party Updates

The WGA strike may have caused a dip in attendance at the Warner Bros. picket in Los Angeles, but that didn’t stop the “Bike Strike” protest from rolling through. A group of dedicated bicyclists planned a 27-mile route from Radford to Amazon, with stops at major studios like Disney and Netflix. And of course, no protest is complete without a lunch break at Swingers. Meanwhile, over at NBCUniversal, the writers of Daisy Jones & the Six brought some serious energy to the picket line. They staged a cover-to-cover listening party of Aurora, the show’s soundtrack album, to keep spirits high. Judalina Neira, the supervising producer on Daisy Jones and the lot coordinator for the NBCU picket line, organized the event. “The fastest way to make the time go on the picket lines is to have great hits,” she said. “When you know all the songs, it makes everything feel so good.” These special-themed pickets are a way to draw people out and keep the momentum going, especially in the Valley where everything is so spread out.
