Two Dead, Three Wounded in Shooting Near Music Festival, Prompting Cancellation

The Beyond Wonderland electronic dance music festival at The Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington was cut short due to a tragic incident. On the second day of the festival, two people were killed and three others were wounded in a shooting at a nearby campground. The shooter fired randomly at a crowd of people before fleeing, but was later apprehended. As a result, the festival organizers made the difficult decision to cancel the second day of the event.

Despite the tragedy, the festival expressed gratitude to the local authorities and staff who acted quickly to manage the situation. They also extended their heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and all those affected by this senseless act of violence.

The festival lineup was set to feature performances by popular artists such as Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, Marshmello, and Afrojack. Although the Saturday show continued after the incident, concertgoers were warned to avoid the campgrounds. The festival assured attendees that there was no current danger to festival goers or the campgrounds.

Our thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy, and we hope that events like Beyond Wonderland can continue to bring people together in a safe and enjoyable environment.
