Get ready for a spine-chilling experience at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights! Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have just announced the details for this year’s event, and it’s going to be terrifyingly good.
One of the new haunted houses is “The Exorcist: Believer,” inspired by the new Universal Pictures film. Step into a bustling street market in Haiti, where a seemingly innocent purchase of a strange folk doll leads to the opening of a demonic portal. Sinister spirits awaken, and two 12-year-old girls mysteriously disappear. When they are found days later with no memory of what happened, it becomes clear that only an exorcism can save them. But beware, because anyone who comes in contact with these girls is at risk of losing their souls.
Another new haunted house is “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count,” based on the popular USA & SYFY series. Chucky, feeling disrespected by his peers, is on a mission to turn his haunted house into a living slaughterhouse. Every person who enters is in danger of becoming his next victim.
And let’s not forget “Universal Monsters: Unmasked,” inspired by Universal’s legacy of iconic cinematic monsters. Descend sixty feet beneath the streets of Paris into the Catacombs, where millions of skeletal remains and sinister secrets await. The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and The Invisible Man lie in wait, seeking vengeance against unsuspecting guests.
But the terror doesn’t stop there. In Orlando, there will be five additional new haunted houses and five scare zones to explore. From “Dr. Oddfellow: Twisted Origins” to “Vamp ’69: Summer of Blood,” there’s something to send shivers down everyone’s spine.
Halloween Horror Nights kicks off on September 1 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 7 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience. Check out the trailer for “The Exorcist: Believer” below and get ready to scream!
