Kim Page Departs Warner Bros Discovery as SVP Communications

EXCLUSIVE: Exciting News! Kim Page, a seasoned communications executive, has bid farewell to Warner Bros Discovery, where she held the prestigious position of SVP Internal Communications. As a valued member of WBD Chief Corporate Communications Officer Nathaniel Brown’s senior executive team, Page played a crucial role in shaping the company’s internal communications strategy. Although based in Texas, Page made the brave decision not to relocate. But fear not, because the talented Tammy Shea is ready to step into Page’s shoes as the new SVP Internal Communications and Engagement. Shea has already proven her expertise in employee engagement initiatives while working closely with Page. In fact, she spearheaded these initiatives for WBD and also led internal communications efforts for Discovery before the merger.

In other news, WBD has unfortunately experienced some layoffs recently. These staff cuts have been ongoing throughout the summer, and it seems that they will continue on a weekly basis for the foreseeable future.

But let’s not dwell on the negatives. Page’s contributions to WBD were immense. She was responsible for overseeing all communications to the company’s global employee population. Prior to her time at WBD, Page held the same role at WarnerMedia, the predecessor of WBD. Her journey with Turner began in 2017 when she joined as VP Corporate Communications. Her exceptional work led to a promotion to SVP, Turner Brand Communications in 2019.

Before her time at Turner, Page made significant contributions to other renowned companies. She served as Sr. Director, Corporate Communications at Walmart and as Director, Internal Communications for the Disney/ABC Television Group. Her career began with managing internal and external communications and engagement strategies for various global businesses, including Yum! Brands International, Verizon, and Baylor Health Care System.

So, let’s bid farewell to Page and welcome Shea as we eagerly anticipate the exciting developments at Warner Bros Discovery!
