EXCLUSIVE: Michelle Rodriguez has joined forces with WME. Rodriguez burst onto the scene in 2000 with her role in Girlfight at the Sundance Film Festival, where she portrayed a troubled boxer. Her performance earned her the Independent Spirit Award and Gotham Award for Best Debut Performance. Girlfight also received critical acclaim, winning the Dramatic Grand Jury Prize at Sundance and the Directing Award for Karyn Kusama.
The San Antonio native went on to star in several blockbuster films, most notably the Fast & Franchise franchise as Letty. Rodriguez appeared in seven out of the ten films in the series, contributing to its impressive $5.5 billion worldwide box office earnings. Her most recent film, Fast X, grossed $705 million worldwide.
Earlier this year, Rodriguez starred alongside Chris Pine in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which premiered at SXSW and grossed over $208 million worldwide. She also played Trudy Chachon in the original Avatar, which earned $2.9 billion at the box office and won multiple Oscars.
Rodriguez’s film credits also include Widows directed by Steve McQueen, and Alita: Battle Angel, Machete, and Machete Kills directed by Robert Rodriguez.
On the television side, Rodriguez is known for her role as Ana Lucia Cortez on ABC’s Lost. She has also lent her voice to popular video games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II, True Crime: Streets of LA, Driver 3, and Halo 2, showcasing her passion for gaming.
